North Richland Middle School Replacement

This project is located on a 13 acre site in North Richland Hills, Tx comprised of building a new middle school adjacent to their existing active middle school campus. It is comprised of demolition of an existing track & field complex before building this new two-story school which is over 174,000 SF with drilled piers, slab on void-boxes, steel frame structure, masonry cavity walls, brick veneer with a modified bitumen roof assembly. This facility will include over 40 classrooms, 2 gymnasiums, a complete food service kitchen, administration offices and ancillary support areas. On-Site improvements and site amenities will include underground storm drainage, sanitary sewer and water piping systems with new parking lots, covered walkways, sidewalks, new irrigation and landscaping surrounding the building, signage and striping and new site lighting. Once the new middle school is completed, demolition of the existing middle school will commence and a complete new track and field athletic complex will be constructed in that location.
