This project consists of an addition and renovation to the existing Westpark Elementary School to covert the existing elementary school to a middle school. The Addition includes adding 26,410 SF to the existing building. Sitework includes utilities, a new detention pond, retaining walls, sidewalks, chain link fencing, walk-way covers, site lighting, and landscape and irrigation. The new construction consists of adding 26,410 SF to the existing building and includes a slab on void form/crawl space foundation. The building is a one-story brick veneer structure with structural steel and metal stud/masonry partitions. The addition includes classrooms, offices, restrooms and a science wing. Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Technology systems are included. The renovation includes reconfiguring and enlarging the existing classrooms, dining area and other spaces of the existing 46,725 SF building. This work includes new exterior windows, millwork, acoustical ceilings, floor finishes, and paint. Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Technology systems are included.
