This 52,570 square-foot project is a new two-story library in the Heritage Crossing District and received a LEED Silver certification. The library features state-of-the-art technology such as special dimming glass and geothermal wells for energy conservation.  The library’s amenities include a multipurpose event space and a basement storage area for materials, study rooms of variable sizes outfitted with smart technology, a media wall, liquid floor tiles in the children’s area and an iCreat lab for teens. The façade of the new library is constructed of natural Texas limestone elements complementing the style of the Heritage Crossing District.
