This project consisted of relocating fourteen (14) existing portable buildings across the site including all final electrical, mechanical, PA, fire alarm, data, technology and security hook-ups. New concrete sidewalks to each building with overhead canopy structures was also in this scope of work. Other exterior items included a new concrete parking lot complete with new striping and signage. New irrigation and landscaping complete the site scope. The main scope of work for this project was an addition to the existing middle school campus. A new 40,000 SF 2-story addition will comprise of a pan deck concrete slab (over a crawl space), CMU block walls, metal framed walls, composite metal deck on 2nd floor, structural steel framework, joists with floor and roof decking with brick / corrugated metal wall panels / plaster facades. Interior floor plan with consist of twenty-one (21) new classrooms and four (4) new science rooms. Room finishes included new millwork, room signage, visual display boards, doors, door hardware and resilient flooring. Along with the new addition, renovation to all the existing restrooms was completed. Renovation work involved new electrical light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, mechanical air devices, ceramic tile, sheetrock ceilings, tape / bed / texture / paint, toilet partitions, toilet accessories and frp. This project also received all new doors and door hardware, a new elevator, re-painting of all existing metal lockers and re-painting of common use spaces.
