 This phased project is located in Alvarado, TX comprised of a new junior high school adjacent to the existing junior high school.  Site demolition work includes removing existing tennis courts and parking lots (in a phased manner to serve the school and stadium during construction).  New work is comprised of site utilities, parking lots, sidewalks, drives, ornamental metal fences, tennis courts, irrigation and landscaping.  The new 2-story junior high school is approximately 150,000 SF with over 550 piers.  Load-bearing masonry walls and structural steel frame the structure.  Exterior façade will include clay masonry, metal panels, manufacturer canopies, sun screens, metal soffits, glazing, composite panels and sand-blasted exposed poured-in-place concrete.  Decorative interior amenities consist of terrazzo flooring, carpet, vct, ceramic tile, poured quartz floors and 2 wood gym floors.
