Lafayette Parish Public Safety Complex
Ratcliff Conststruction Company, LLC, announces that it has been awarded a construction contract to build the new $24 million Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, Public Safety Complex on 29 acres on West Willow Street in north Lafayette Parish.The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Willow Street Public Safety Complex is a four building, 159,000 square foot development that will feature a 200-Bed Transitional Work Release facility and a 216-Bed Minimum Custody Secure Housing facility. The complex will also be the home of a new Professional Development and Training Center, Video Visitation Facility and includes a 38,000 square foot Warehouse Building. This building will include a central laundry, Inmate Industries, central warehousing, facilities maintenance and processing areas. Designed by Grace & Hebert arhitects, this $24 million facility is expected to take 540 days for completion.
